# @kody/notion-mcp ## Intent Wrap the official Notion MCP server (`kody.mcp["notion"]`) so onboarding is add-server-and-authorize. This package is the MCP helper. The existing OAuth/API package `@kody/notion` stays separate. This listing is meant to be forked. After you fork, connect **your** Notion workspace. Do not treat the live `@kody/notion-mcp` connection as yours. Share this listing as https://kody.codes/@kody/notion-mcp ## What it does - Probe whether the Notion MCP server is connected (or report setup) - Search Notion pages the authorizing user can already see - Prefer official MCP over registering a custom Notion OAuth app ## Prerequisites / setup **Preferred:** add the official Notion MCP server, then authorize it. ```ts await kody.mcpServerAdd({ name: 'notion', url: 'https://mcp.notion.com/mcp', }) ``` Open the returned `authUrl`. Helpers then call `kody.mcp["notion"]`. The MCP *server* name stays `notion`. The `-mcp` suffix is only the Kody package identity. Do not register a Notion OAuth app for the one-click path. For OAuth or API-key helpers, use `@kody/notion`. Agents: see [`AGENTS.md`](./AGENTS.md) for import paths and smoke checks. ## Done when - Notion MCP server `notion` is added and authorized - Smoke test reports MCP connected (or clear setup / `@kody/notion` fallback) - `search` returns pages the user can already see ## Branding `community-icon.png` is Notion's official mark.
