# @kody/sentry-mcp ## Intent Wrap the official Sentry MCP server (`kody.mcp["sentry"]`) so onboarding is add-server-and-authorize. This package is the MCP helper. The existing OAuth/API package `@kody/sentry` stays separate. This listing is meant to be forked. After you fork, connect **your** Sentry workspace. Do not treat the live `@kody/sentry-mcp` connection as yours. Share this listing as https://kody.codes/@kody/sentry-mcp ## What it does - Probe whether the Sentry MCP server is connected (or report setup) - List organizations the authorizing user can already see - Prefer official MCP over registering a custom Sentry OAuth app ## Prerequisites / setup **Preferred:** add the official Sentry MCP server, then authorize it. ```ts await kody.mcpServerAdd({ name: 'sentry', url: 'https://mcp.sentry.dev/mcp', }) ``` Open the returned `authUrl`. Helpers then call `kody.mcp["sentry"]`. The MCP *server* name stays `sentry`. The `-mcp` suffix is only the Kody package identity. Do not register a Sentry OAuth app for the one-click path. For OAuth or API-key helpers, use [`@kody/sentry`](https://kody.codes/@kody/sentry). Agents: see [`AGENTS.md`](./AGENTS.md) for import paths and smoke checks. ## Done when - Sentry MCP server `sentry` is added and authorized - Smoke test reports MCP connected (or clear setup / `@kody/sentry` fallback) - `list-organizations` returns orgs the user can already see ## Branding `community-icon.svg` is Sentry's official glyph from the public [Sentry branding page](https://sentry.io/branding/).
