Intent

Raycast launcher whose commands are execute scripts in this package’s storage. Agents add commands with title, description, icon, and ESM code. The local extension calls minted list-commands / run webhooks (URLs live only in ~/.config/kody/raycast.json on the Mac — never in chat).

Extension source: extension/ in this same repo.

Setup (agent-autonomous)

  1. Mint webhooks list-commands and run if needed.
  2. webhookUrlApply each handle to GitHub repo kentcdodds/kody-raycast-hooks with integration: "github-kent".
  3. On the Mac, read hook config.url values via gh api and write ~/.config/kody/raycast.json with listCommandsWebhookUrl + runWebhookUrl (mode 0600). Do not paste those URLs into chat.
  4. Link/import extension/ (or ~/code/raycast-extensions/kody) and open Kody Commands.

Package apps on *.kody.run require a Kody browser handoff, so they are not used as the Raycast backend.

Agent command creation

import upsertCommand from 'kody:@kentcdodds/raycast/upsert-command'
await upsertCommand({ title, description, icon, code })

Done when

  • ~/.config/kody/raycast.json has both webhook URL fields
  • Kody Commands lists stored commands and runs them
