Intent
Wrap the official Linear MCP server (kody.mcp["linear"]) so onboarding is
add-server-and-authorize. This package is the MCP helper. The existing
OAuth/API package @kody/linear stays
separate and is the preferred invoke path once BYO OAuth or an API key is set
up.
This listing is meant to be forked. After you fork, connect your Linear
workspace. Do not treat the live @kody/linear-mcp connection as yours.

What it does
- Report MCP connection status and setup guidance (root overview)
- Smoke-test whether
kody.mcp["linear"]is connected - List issues through the connected Linear MCP server
Prerequisites / setup
Add the official Linear MCP server, then authorize it. Do not register an
OAuth app for this one-click path — for OAuth or API-key helpers, use
@kody/linear.
await kody.mcpServerAdd({
name: 'linear',
url: 'https://mcp.linear.app/mcp',
})Open the returned authUrl. Helpers then call kody.mcp["linear"]. The MCP
server name stays linear. The -mcp suffix is only the Kody package
identity.
Agents: see AGENTS.md for import paths and smoke snippets.
