@kody/mailroom
Offline-first PWA for your Kody mailbox: sent and received threads, copy-prompt for agents, no send.

Intent
Give every Kody user a fork-ready, installable email client for their own mailbox: browse received and sent threads, copy a prompt for an agent, and keep working offline. This is not system/admin mail and it does not send. Agents send email; this app is the reading room.
The hosted app calls emailMessageList, emailMessageGet, and
emailMessageSearch as the package owner, so fork this listing if you
want https://{you}.kody.run/packages/mailroom to show your mail. The live
@kody/mailroom snapshot is the official source, not a shared inbox.
What you get
- Received / Sent thread menus
- Thread view with HTML (sandboxed) and text
- Copy prompt on a thread or a single message (paste into any agent)
- Offline-first PWA: service worker, install, IndexedDB cache of the server
- Update toast when a newer published version or waiting worker is ready
- No compose, no reply, no send
Prerequisites / setup
- Fork this listing (or use your existing fork).
- Review source, then publish your copy.
- Open
https://{your-username}.kody.run/packages/mailroomand install the PWA if you want it on your home screen.
There are no owner-specific secrets to copy. See ./adapt for
fork notes. Agent import paths and smoke tests: AGENTS.md.
Hosted app
https://{username}.kody.run/packages/mailroom
IndexedDB caches thread lists and message bodies. Online, the app revalidates on focus and about every 20 seconds while visible. Reload from the update toast when a new version is published.
Done when
- Hosted app loads your received and sent threads.
- Thread detail shows bodies; copy-prompt produces pasteable agent text.
- Offline revisit still shows cached threads.
- After publish, About reflects the new version (agents record the commit —
see
AGENTS.md).
